Being a SAHM means you can always bet that I am in my house clothes (read: a ratty shirt and lady boxers) at any time of the day. So, going out, even just doing the grocery, is kinda a momentous event already. I’d like to look put together and though as if I spent a lot of time making myself, well… pretty. But, the thing is, I’m not into fashion; I stick to basics and neutrals when I choose what to wear. My usual outfit is basically a tee or a tank, paired with jeans or shorts and flats (or my Anthropology Hampstead Floral wedges that I’m currently loving). This is my go-to-attire since I’ll be carrying and nursing Z out.
So imagine my delight when I discovered these:
These are from Iya Misa’s Clothing Store. Iya is a good friend from college and is a budding entrepreneur who is encouraging ladies to go local! Her cover ups will add pizzazz to any (my) ho-hum attire without compromising comfort. The colors and prints go well with anything, that I might have to order a lot since I get cold in most places! I like these throw-overs as they can double as a nursing cover when Z gets hungry. Her pieces are also limited in number so you can be sure that it’s a special piece; but that doesn’t mean it costs a lot. In fact, I’m surprised that for less than P1,000, you’ll get an item that is both versatile and eye-catching. Click the link to go to her online store and you might find that additional jazz your closet has been waiting for.
The good news is, Iya is giving one very lucky reader a throw-over! The steps are easy, just follow the Rafflecopter widget below:
