Lock & Lock’s Newest Branch

Being a domestic diva wannabe, I try to put some order in our clutter by using products I’ve long trusted. So it was a delight to be among organizational tools and other homemaker gadgets in the flagship store of Lock & Lock located in the 6th floor of Shangri La Mall’s East Wing.

Along with the other SoMoms, I oohd and aaahd at the cookware, food keepers and storage bins in the store. I was in domestic diva heaven! Lock & Lock has helped me bring “baon” during my high school and college days because of the assurance that the food will not spill, be it as oily as menudo or as saucy as spaghetti! So being here was really a treat! We also learned about their new products, which will definitely help those, like me, who wants to achieve an orderly and functioning household.

My top 3 Lock & Lock products are:

1. Boroseal food containers – I loathe the “reusable” plastic containers which are so popular these days. I hate it even more when it is used to microwave food! Horror! Which is why I invested in Boroseal containers in all shapes and sizes to avoid the use of these plasticwares. With Boroseal, you can cook with it in the oven, use it as a serving dish and have a place for the leftovers, all in one glass container! That’s a whole lot of saving.

You can never go wrong with Boroseal containers!

2. Ice tray – The freezer can be especially smelly. So to keep the ice cubes odor-free, Lock & Lock has a 3-layer ice tray in a covered container. It also looks good in the freezer!

 3. CookPlus Wok – I try to prepare healthy meals for our family and the CookPlus helps me do it. As it needs little to no oil for stir-fried veggies and sunny side up egg! It is also available in a lot of colors so you can choose which will go well in your kitchen!

Ok… trimming it down to 3 items were kinda hard, since all of the stuff I bought at the Lock & Lock store is very functional. I have their inplus stacking system to organize our medicines; we all have our own Lock & Lock water bottles; their rice box also makes it easy to gauge how much rice we use in a month!

I have a lot more on my to-buy list at the Lock & Lock store! Let’s schedule a visit soon!
