The Weekend That Was: RSGKids, Pregnant Pause and Vikings

Weekends seem to get busier as the Christmas season draws near! Here’s a recap of where we’ve been:

Ready, Steady, Go Kids!

I’ve already blogged about this wonderful kids’ activity! We went again for a trial class but as usual, Z took a long time to warm up. After he got an ice cream cup, he began exploring the materials and played. He was pushed by an older kid who was taunting him since he was quietly eating but he didn’t retaliate. Z just went back to us and I just told the parents what happened. I think because the place was really big and there were only 2 coaches, these incidents are bound to happen. I’m just relieved that Z wasn’t affected at all (I hope I can say the same for my husband, haha!)

If you and your kid/s are interested, here’s the schedule for RSGK’s 2nd term:

Pregnant Pause 8

When I was preggy the first time, I attended all the classes I could attend to! Going to these seminars offer a lot of new information on products and research. For this Pregnant Pause session I learned about Baby Sign Language, Naturopathy, labor tips from Rome Kanapi and Breastfeeding Myths from Abbie Yabot. I highly recommend Pregnant Pause by Mommy Mundo because you get to learn so much in just one venue! There’s also booths for shopping!

Viking’s at SM Megamall

For our Ninang’s 60th birthday celebration, we were treated to a lunch at Viking’s. KAGULO! There were a lot of people and it was hard to get all the food you want! But we came with a plan, haha! Since Yaya won’t eat at the buffet, we assigned her to line up at the most-demand stations: Tempura, Steak and Seafood. Since I was seated with my parents, whenever we got a chance to get food, we’ll share it with everyone else. Z ate 12 tempuras!!! He also liked the hakaw and the desserts. I especially loved the Mongolian station because I haven’t eaten Mongolian for a long time (What happened to Kublai’s in Katipunan?!) And the taho and puto bumbong was good too! Should you eat at Viking’s, make sure to have a reservation.
