I had a baby shower over the weekend in celebration of our baby girl, Brianna Ysabel! It was supposed to be a surprise, but knowing me, my mom, MIL and brother wouldn’t risk it, haha. So, I had a lot of input on the details and suppliers. After all, this might be the last time I’ll have a baby shower, might as well design it to my liking!
Moms may have over-used the line “to the moon and back” from the well-loved children’s book Guess How Much I Love You, because it encompasses the overwhelming feeling of being in love with your wee one, which is why I chose that theme. Accompanying it are the colors: orange, blue and green with a bit of yellow and brown. Yes, I veered away from the pink, because I know I’ll be spending a lifetime looking at it (and just by looking at the gifts, it’ll be a pink party until my little girl discovers another color!)

In this digital age, printed invites are a thing of luxury. But you still need a digital invite for your Facebook Events Page, so I had Paper Treats make one. You can easily print out one for your scrapbooking needs. I also had notecards printed so that the guests will have a space for their notes to Baby Y!
To get the over-all feel of being in the book, I hired WhiteKraft Events Management to do the styling and coordination of my baby shower. I must say, I’m very impressed with their creativity and passion in what they are doing (aside from the other jobs they have). Run by Vera, Cory and Lei, they transformed my in-laws’ place into a woodland, complete with trees, bunnies and carrots! My FIL who is very meticulous was impressed as well and that says a big thing! I highly suggest them for your next event.

It’s just so lovely 🙂 The WhiteKraftTeam also decorated the dessert buffet table in my color palette. It also means a lot that they took note of my ideas and incorporated them, like the milk bottles. Vera went out of her way to buy them at Divi! The cake and cake pops are from Jeterra Fine Foods. I ordered the blue colored Nips and iced gems from Reese Gummy. I’m really happy that everything worked well together 🙂 The paper cups and straws are from Paper Chic Studio.

I promise to upload more pictures on the Facebook Page for the teensy-weensy details! Still waiting for the pictures from our photographer.
Since I have a toddler to keep busy while I’m busy chit-chatting with the guests, I thought of putting a bunny feeding station, just like the one in Ark Avilon. Lo and behold, my trusty party booth supplier, Smart Play posted one on Facebook the day I was thinking about it. Coincidence is such a funny thing! I love it when things fall into place. So I texted Mich and booked it right then and there. We had 6 rabbits during the event, which we gave away as prizes, and the kids present enjoyed it a lot!

I’m really happy with the way this event turned out! With all the right suppliers coming together, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the company of your guests 🙂 I will post the pictures of the food once I have them. No one bothered to take pics of the food served by Red Chef Catering because it was soooo good! And affordable too! Click on the links to go to all of my suppliers’ Facebook Pages! They might even give you a discount when you say that you read about them here 😉
We’re all excited for you my little girl! Can’t wait to see you in a month!

Thanks Cym! Some guests thought it was too Easter-y with all the bunnies haha!
