I attended Memory Crafter’s Photo Styling Workshop by Ron Lee last Saturday. It was held at Cath Kidston in BGC and I’m soooo in love with that store! SO MANY THINGS TO WANT!
Ron was helpful in giving us tips on how to have a cohesive-looking Instagram feed. I was amazed that everyday materials like illustration boards, cartolina, shoe boxes, etc. can make for a great flat-lay! I’ve yet to practice what I’ve learned so do follow me on IG (@chessyalejandro). To let us have a hands-on feel, we did several layouts using anything in the store! It really helps when you’re surrounded with lots of eye-candy. Lots of props and storytelling can happen.
After the workshop, I was craving for kebabs (as always!) so we went to Earth Kitchen. I wasn’t able to take pictures because Y was acting up. We also had the Risotto Balls, which Z gobbled up, Mushroom Spring Roll and Carbonara.
And speaking of food, I wasn’t able to take a bite of the workshop’s The Little Whish giveaway. Z ate it all up 🙁
The Little Whisk makes super cute sugar cookies in Red Velvet, Chocolate and Vanilla flavors. The owner, Maggie is highly creative and even made street food looking cookies! Check out her IG at @thelittlewhiskph.
It was a steady weekend, in preparation for summer school! Where did you go and what did you eat?! Share in the comments!
Which of these three words matter to you in terms of skin care products you will use for your baby?
This was the question posed on me as I registered at M Café last April 6. I chose safe because I don’t want anything harmful coming in contact with my kids. If a product is safe, all else follows.
It’s a fortunate scenario that us moms do not need to choose among the three because the authority in beauty in the country has come out with a skincare line for little ones called Belo Baby: Crafted with care for the most delicate skin, for the most meticulous moms!
Before I dwell on the products, here are some of the food we had at the launch. It was my first time at M Café so it was a treat getting to try these dishes.
When we’ve all had our fill, it was time to put on our thinking caps and participate in the game! Knowing how moms can get competitive really upped the atmosphere, haha! Patty Laurel-Filart, our host for the afternoon read the questions we had to answer as a group. It was enlightening as some of the facts stated were new to me. After 10 questions, our group only had 3 points but everyone still got prizes: Belo Sun Protection Products, yay! I heard good reviews about this so I can’t wait to try it.
Birthday girl, Cristalle Henares, in a gorgeous dress was vibrant in telling the story about this “baby”. She guarantees us that moms are assured that there are no harmful chemicals in each of the products. Her R&D team was present and answered all our questions: whether the ingredients are certified natural, who tested the products and if it has passed a blind test.
The Belo Baby Mombassadors: Kelly Misa-Fernandez, Nicole Hernandez and Patty Laurel-Filart, mingled with us and talked about what they loved most about the Belo Baby products having tried them for almost a month. If these moms tried it, I know that it’s surely worth trying as well!
With the Belo Baby guarantee, it’s one less thing to worry about (and we moms worry about EVERYTHING!) Because it is safe, natural and gentle, we are assured that nothing can harm our babies precious skin. Thank you Belo Baby for our trial pack. I will try these on myself and the kids. Wait for the review!
If you must know something about me, it’s that I don’t like eating fruits. So, to make up for it, I rely on juices to get my body’s requirement of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Fortunately for me I absolutely love apple juice and drinking just 8-ounces of Mott’s 100% Original Apple Juice provides two servings of fruit and 120% Daily Value Vitamin C!
Mott’s 100% Original Apple Juice has been around 1842 so it is safe to say that they are experts in making the most out of this juicy, luscious fruit. Generations upon generations of mothers have trusted Mott’s and continuously served them to their kids because of its high quality and delicious taste.
Speaking of moms, Fly Ace Corporation, distributor of Mott’s in the country has chosen a super-mom to be the brand’s first Philippine Ambassador. A true momspiration, Janice Villanueva (otherwise known as Mommy Mundo) discerns what food and drinks she serves her brood of three. Mott’s passed her high standards because it is 100% juice, with 0% fat, no additional sugar, gluten-free and is a good source of Vitamin C.
Cheshire Que RND. RN. RDN, a registered dietitian and nutritionist, reiterated Janice’s point that Mott’s does not have alarming ingredients present. It really is 100% apple juice! And did you know that Mott’s is not just for drinking?! Cheshire shared healthy recipes which uses Mott’s that parents and kids will surely like!
For a non-fruit eater like me, I actually liked these! I’m hoping to make the Perky Pancakes for Z this week.
By the way, Fly Ace Corporation has an on-going contest which may let you win a year’s supply of Mott’s 100% Apple Juice!
