I love going to events that allow me to catch up with other mommy-blogger friends and learn about a brand’s new products. Such was the event of Sanicare last week when they showcased all their products and launched their first ever brand ambassador, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal!
Bianca, as a new mom, definitely only wants the cleanest environment for her daughter. She’s now more appreciative of Sanicare’s products even though she’s been seeing it since forever! Which makes this partnership a match made in hygienic heaven – Sanicare is a household name as Bianca is as well, since her commercial-modelling days to TV hosting and now being a mom that most look up to! Yup, I kinda fan-girled a bit, heehee! Even Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi, our host for that afternoon agreed that Bianca is the perfect face for Sanicare because she represents the modern moms of today.
Sanicare has 4 product lines available: Kitchen Hygiene, Bathroom Hygiene, Personal Hygiene, and Baby Hygiene. Their full range of products were presented in a fun and informative way through “mom hacks” presented by Frances Sales, Shari Macainag and Sarah Tirona.
Indeed, it was an afternoon well-spent in the company of good friends, delicious food (Makati Diamond has amazing food selection!) and a trustworthy brand! Not to mention our win in the Q & A where our team won pazzez to Kidzania! So, thank you Sanicare and Huddle Room for making a fun and informative event!
March is brimming with lots of cool events for the whole family!
At Expo Kid, parents and kids will have a sneak peek of the different summer activities available in the metro! We went last year and discovered an indoor soccer class, availed of discounted tickets in Kidzania and Mind Museum and learned about the newest establishments for kids to widen their interests. There’s no need to call or email or go from one place to the other just to get details, you’ll get the summer schedules, rates, locations and maybe a discount in just one place! Count on Mommy Mundo to make our lives easier!
Expo Kid 2017 | March 4 and 5, 2017 | 11 am to 9 pm | Bonifacio High Street Activity Center
If I had a yaya and a newborn, I’d definitely attend The Parenting Emporium‘s Infant Care seminar. Extra hands for taking care of a new baby are very much appreciated but parents would be more at ease if their yayas or helpers are knowledgeable about first aid, proper hygiene (for both baby and nanny!) feeding and all the other issues concerning the baby. This will be very helpful to first-time moms as well!
Yaya Seminar on Infant Care | March 4, 2017 | 1 pm to 4 pm | #29 1st Street, New Manila, Q.C. | Fees apply

A healthy lifestyle might be one of the best gifts we can give to our children! And by being good examples, we can show them that being fit and healthy is fun. The Mommy Milkshake Run by Mommy Mundo is the right venue just for that! Don’t worry if you’ve never run before, most families just take the time to be together, away from gadgets and work. There will also be a family fair with booths catering to health wellness that you can go to after the run to take a breather. For information on the fees, singlet sizes and route, just visit their website.

I’ve been dreaming of an online store since it’s something a stay-at-home-mom like me can run. But how?! Manila Workshops has the answer! I love how Manila Workshops’ topics are relevant and interesting. I just wish they’ll have another run for this because I can’t go huhu.

The Discovery group of hotels is known for their spacious accommodations and utmost personal service. And that’s what I witnessed when Mothers Who Brunch invited me for a day of pampering and chika at Discovery Primea.
The Discovery Leisure Company, a homegrown Filipino hospitality group, proudly unveils Discovery Primea, a deluxe hotel for business and leisure travelers on a quick sojourn or an extended stay in the city. Towering along Ayala Avenue in the pulsating Makati Central Business District is a soaring 68-storey skyscraper home to 141 rooms and suites with stunning vistas of Manila’s skyline. The first and only Philippine hotel to become a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts LVX Collection, Discovery Primea is part of a prestigious portfolio of worldly and illustrious properties known for attentive and exclusive personalized service.
It was supposed to be me-time but as you can see, my baby girl tagged along! We had a tour of the rooms and dining options before we got to our pampering!
There are 141 rooms in the hotel and we got to visit two: a Deluxe and a Business Suite. Here’s what I liked about their rooms:
Each room includes bathrobes, umbrella, soft bedroom slippers, a jewelry case in the safe and emergency flashlight.
The Executive Suite has 2 rooms and a full functioning kitchen. You can even request the hotel’s staff to shop for your preferred dish’ ingredients so you can cook! Plus points to the washer/dryer.
Aside from the view, I noticed that you can’t hear the noise going on outside. Situated along Ayala Ave., you’d know how busy it gets. You can relax by the window as what Y did in the picture above.
We got to visit two of the five dining options in the hotel: Flame and Restaurant Tapenade.
Flame is on the 16th floor which gives a picturesque view of the metro, somewhat a romantic place at night. I’ve heard good reviews about their contemporary continental cuisine, especially their Lobster Rice! It has an open kitchen, wide array of wines and liquors, Enomatic wine dispenser (it makes the wine taste good, daw) and uses Josper grill.
On the lobby level is Restaurant Tapenade, which offers an all-day dining of Mediterranean cuisine. Some restaurants offer a salad bar, but in Tapenade, they’ll offer you a Salad Room! It’s the first time I’ve been in a Salad Room and I was floored! There were greens, cheeses, breads and fresh, succulent oysters! I can stay in that room forever! We were treated to the Mediterranean Family Feast, which consists of a buffet bursting of flavors from Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Morocco and Turkey. My daughter liked their thin crust pizza and the soup, which I now forget what it’s called. I zeroed in on the Rib-Eye Steak and Paella!
That’s it for the tour! Part 2 of this escapade is our pampering at the 3rd floor of Discovery Primea. Thanks again Mothers Who Brunch for having me!
