I’ve got it all together

Well, sometimes I feel like I do.

Take today for example, I put this #ootd on a whim and realized that majority from it are from local makers.

Top: Zouk

Necklace: Piesa

Bag: Tipi and Folk

Shoes: Posh Pocket

Really happy they all mesh well together! I try to buy from Pinoy makers and sellers regularly to show support and pride 🙂

Care to share other local crafts and fashion pieces?! Drop them in the comments 🙂

MomBrandLove: MplusKequalsA

MomBrandLove is the newest category on this blog. This is in awe of mompreneurs who lovingly put a lot of effort in their business along with juggling tasks for kids, husband, the home and everything in between! I hope that my blog will be an avenue for other moms to discover mom-made products. Moms support moms, yeah!

I’ve been following Em’s MplusKequalsA Instagram account way before I had a baby girl. And when I found out I was indeed having one, this was one of the first online stores I ordered from!

Just a few hours old!
Just a few hours old!

Em initially made headbands for her daughter, because her little one had  a not-so-good experience with a commercially-made one. And the rest is history. She enjoyed making clips and headbands that she continued making them and eventually sold them online. No business plan whatsoever, just passion and a lot of creativity!

Now that Y likes to look (in her own words) pretty , she enjoys having clips on her hair. The clips from MplusKequalsA has a rubber foam glued on the clip so it will not tug or hurt the scalp and hair. Moms really think of the simple but important aspect which makes buying from them worth it!

I’m really happy to have creative mommy friends to support! Do check out MplusKequalsA account by clicking their logo on the sidebar. Best part? They’re on SALE and stocks are running out fast!

MomBrandLove: Little Luli

MomBrandLove is the newest category on this blog. I hope that my blog will be an avenue for other moms to discover mom-made products. Moms support moms, yeah!

I remember a 2 year old Z only wanted to wear a gray shirt with blue trimmings. I will have a hard time letting him wear another shirt. So, most of his pictures then were him wearing this shirt. I don’t have any problem with it since the shirt was soft and goes well with anything. He’s still got that similar shirt in a bigger size to this date! This started our family’s love affair with Little Luli clothing.

If I remember correctly, I discovered Little Luli at a bazaar in Babyland. I didn’t have a baby girl back then but I bought a dress for my niece because the material was really soft and the designs were playful but not over the top. And when I had Y, that’s when the fun started! Most of her #ootd’s on Instagram is from this mom-run brand. My kids are really happy in them.

When the dress got shorter, her mom just made her wear leggings! Little Luli clothes can grow with your child 🙂

I’m amazed at how Lucien, creator of Little Luli, has managed to evolve the brand while being hands-on with her 2 boys. The brand is now offering accessories for both boys and girls (you’ve got to check out the Lego bow-tie!) and a crown-making booth for parties (which was a hit for the young and old during Y’s first birthday party!).

Y's first necklace is made from scrap cloth. I also used this, hehe!

Kids will definitely feel special while wearing the crown they've designed!

It's also my default go-to gifts! My friend's daughter wearing a collaboration between Little Luli and My Globe Trotters. This is a reversible dress which makes it a travel essential for kids!

Clearly, I’m in love with the brand. And I’m excited for what’s in store for it (matchy-matchy clothes? new collaborations? tops and dresses for moms?) Hooray for local brands that make clothes shopping for kids a breeze!
