November Round-Up

Hiiii! Can you believe it’s the last month of the year already?! *inhale, exhale*

Sharing with you some stuff I discovered and currently enjoying:

Cusina Dishwashing Liquid

I’m always on the look out for products which offer a safer choice for the home. Such is Cusina Dishwashing Liquid I got from Expo Mom (The folks from Strollin’ In the City sent me a box to try too!) We’ve been using it to wash the kids’ eating utensils and toys so I’m confident that there are no harmful chemicals. Cusina uses the tea tree and eucalyptus to fight off bacteria but still being harmless to us. The Grapefruit Lemon variant is so pleasing to smell!

Cusina comes in 3 refreshing scents: Grapefruit Lemon Zest; Ginger Yuzu Peel; and Lemongrass Citrus.

They are superrrr cute!!! I’m making it our adventure to collect all 50 and look for the ultra rare gold ones. Is there a trade group in the Philippines?! Yes, I’m addicted haha!

Malagos Chocolates

I might be a bit late to the party but this is the only time I liked dark chocolates. Z loves it! And I read that their tablea is great for making champorado, perfect for the brrr weather (which is when, exactly?!) I’m so happy there are local products which are doing well internationally like Malagos 🙂

Binondo Pabili

I’ve never been to Binondo and I don’t have plans to go (sa SM nga I faint eh, dun pa!) but the deals there are unbelievable! Sally, the owner of Instagram account Binondo Pabili is heaven-sent! Just viber her what you need, and voila! She’ll shop for you and send it to your doorstep. I’ve asked her twice to shop for gift-wrapping needs and transacting business with her is a breeze. Thanks, Sally!

How was your November?! Are you ready for the Christmas rush?

Our Trip to Zonta Alabang’s Christmas Carnivale

I listed down three reasons why you should go to the Christmas Carnivale Bazaar by Zonta Alabang. Well, we went this afternoon, and it didn’t disappoint!

There were a lot of merchants, food booths, entertainment and all sorts of fun! I had time to go around on my own because Z was sleeping and Y was busy eating, haha! Here’s what I found:

Wooden Nativity sets hand-carved from Laguna.
Such a nice reminder for us moms…
This is not your ordinary bag. The designs are photographs by the owner, Ched Limson so you’re sure that it’s one of a kind.
A Christmas Tree adorned by socks!
Let me introduce to you Wit’s. It’s a granola-type snack but with a twist. It is infused with ginger or mango and an added spice. Sarap!
These goodies are so good! Yes, I tasted each, haha 🙂 Follow them on IG: @berkiesmnl.
I’ve never seen this before. It’s Jumping Clay. A box costs P350 and comes with clay and a set of instructions. You just let it air dry and voila!
For the men in your life: Sinag Eyewear. Made of bamboo, it is lightweight and doesn’t scratch. SOme styles have polarized lenses. Very chica! Follow them on IG: @sinagph
Memo boards, cheese tray, magnet boards.
I like making lists… and checking it twice! Lots of organizing tools from Storage Solutions.
Authentic Murano glass beads from Miss Chic. Find them on IG
Me and tutus! Love this collection from Simara! They accept customized orders. Follow them on IG @shopsimara.

There’s many more pa! So try to visit them on Sunday. They are open from 10am to 9pm with lots of shows throughout the whole day. There’s also a booth for kids with bouncy houses and toys so they can be busy while you’re busy!

Happy Weekend!

Three Reasons to go to Zonta Alabang’s Christmas Carnivale Bazaar

File_000 (2)

It’s bazaar season and I’m sure your weekends are booked to go to each one. Last Saturday, I attended a brunch with the women of Zonta Alabang and learned about their Christmas Carnivale Bazaar. Here’s why you should go:

Indoor Shopping

Over 100 merchants from all over the country will be present in this 2-day bazaar. From toys, clothes to food and furniture, you can find everything here. Michelle, Zonta Alabang’s president said that they wanted the ones who always sell up north, come down to the south naman. It’ll be a good place to see new things. Manila Famers will also showcase their items and we all know how hard it is to go to their event.

Bonding Time with the Family

Bringing the kids to the Christmas Carnivale Bazaar won’t be a problem. There will be various entertainment lined up for them. Think of man in stilts, petting zoo, magic show… it’s like being in a real carnival! And I also heard there will be a go kart track! How cool is that!

Helping Worthy Causes

Just by going and shopping at the Carnivale, you are already helping the ladies of Zonta Alabang in their socio-civic programs. They have health programs geared to help the families in Muntinlupa and the children in the cancer ward of PGH. And as moms, they are involved in an international cause entitled #ZontaSaysNo. As an international group, Zonta is against violence against women and child marriages.

It’s easy to admire these women who are all-around super! They have careers or businesses to run, a family to take care of and this group which helps a lot more!

Go to their bazaar ha! There’s no entrance fee and it will be loads of fun!
