A few weeks back, I joined Cai and Kaye and we got our hands dirty!
We attended The Green House Project’s workshop on making indoor plants at SM North Edsa. I read before that in order for a home to feel alive, something living like a pet or a plant should be present. Since living in a condo, we haven’t had both. Indoor plants might be my ideal living thing as it requires minimal care and won’t make too much mess. It’s quite a relaxing hobby as well making one but can be a bit tedious in decorating and choosing plants. Thankfully, Karen of The GreenHouse Project guided as throughout the workshop.
For someone who’s not really crafty, I enjoyed this ha. I was like in zen-mode while I was pouring soil, digging through the plants and decorating the pot. And my plants are still alive!!! So, pwede ko talaga syang hobby!
But if you want potted plants or succulents, The GreenHouse Project sells them also. Follow them on Instagram, @thegreenhouseproject to know where they sell these.
I’m so happy that there are many choices for learning being offered to expecting parents nowadays. It’s really good to feel that there are others who are with you in this journey. Manila Workshops and Babyland present the “Prenatal Yoga and Workshop Series”.
