After 2 years, my husband and I got to eat out. Without the need for a kiddie chair! Yes, it was just the two of us for lunch (and the traffic jam on Katipunan!)
We went to Torch because we had a gift certificate but we were a day too late. I was actually craving for Torch’s food because we just got Z’s party pictures held there. Here’s what we ordered:
I wasn’t able to take a picture of our Salmon Cream Cheese roll but it was super yummy!
Even though we are always together and we make it a point to eat out weekly, it was a different feeling being out without a toddler in tow. We were able to focus on eating and talking about anything. I think my husband was happy to have my attention all to himself! Hahaha! We walked hand in hand which rarely happens now because one of us would be carrying Z. And yes I was kilig! It was a nice feeling. I really thought that the first time I’d be going out for a good time would be overshadowed by guilt feelings that I had to leave my baby behind. Apparently, I had to do this for myself, my husband and our relationship. And yes, no inch of guilt here. But no, a second date is not yet scheduled.
Ahaha I just had to use that line! Because that’s how I felt. Hey husband, if you’re reading this, I love you!
